Will raised his wand and aimed it at his own "Professor Riddle."

The day had finally come, though in Will's original plan, he wasn't supposed to face Voldemort head-on until much later.

Still, this worked too... It would give him a chance to test his limits...

It had been so long since he'd had a chance to go all out.

"There's a lot you don't know." With a casual flick of his wand, Will sent several Ministry of Magic employees who were still breathing toward the far wall, where Scrimgeour was.

Voldemort's smile widened. He waved his wand, and the water and fire around them rapidly receded. Even the floor soon dried.

If a little steam hadn't lingered, no one would have guessed Will's Aguamenti had flooded the place moments ago.

Hidden by a Disillusionment Charm, Scrimgeour broke into a cold sweat. This man had better hold Voldemort off. Otherwise, the consequences were unthinkable.

Voldemort whipped his wand with one withered arm. The green Killing Curse sliced through the steam still hanging in the hall like the Grim Reaper's scythe and hurtled straight at Will's face with suffocating menace.

Will wasn't surprised. This was Voldemort's style. The floor before him seemed to come alive, rising to block the deadly spell.

"Interesting." Will gave his wand a flick, a teasing smile curling his lips. "You seem to have recovered well. But if this is all you can do, I'll be sorely disappointed."

"Interesting?" The amusement and contempt vanished from Voldemort's scarlet eyes, replaced by the greed and excitement of a hunter sighting prey. "Rufus, you've given me quite the surprise."
