Will understood his reasoning—people often resented inequality more than scarcity. Even if these three had contributed more to the Order of the Phoenix than anyone else in the Werewolf Mutual Aid Association, it could still stir resentment and undermine the association's stability.

Lupin wanted to wait until Will had gradually performed Reversal on more werewolves before making the matter public.

"Will, this is a major undertaking, after all. You don't have the time to stay at the association helping everyone..." Lupin spoke quietly to Will beside the sofa, hoping to reason with him.

Will finished his water and set down the glass. "Anyway, now that that's settled, I'll be off. I have a lot on my plate lately, Lupin. I really don't have much time."

"Would you like me to take you home?" Lupin did not try to keep him. He knew perfectly well how hard Will worked. They had known each other for over four years, and Will had scarcely gone a single day without studying.

It might have been the summer holidays, but Lupin knew full well that Will would certainly not spend the time playing around. He was bound to be pursuing his research and studies again.

"No need. I can Apparate." Will waved. "See you."

"See you." Sirius waved goodbye to Will, and Tonks and Kingsley waved as well.
