Harry just drank his hot tea without saying a word, looking as tight-lipped as ever.
Ron looked helpless. "He's been like this for days, completely distracted, even during training."
Sylvia affectionately held the grape juice to Will's lips. "So you still haven't told us what's wrong with Harry, Ron."
"I think you'd better stop doing that. I'm afraid it'll only hurt him more," Hermione said, looking less concerned as she ate some dried fruit. "Remember that French girl? The one who danced with Harry at the Triwizard Tournament ball?"
At that, Harry finally reacted. He turned toward the window, apparently unwilling to say anything.
"You mean Sophie Robert?" Will frowned.
"Yes." Hermione looked rather helpless. "It seems someone got dumped."
Harry pressed his lips together. "I-I didn't get dumped."
Ron teased him. "Right, she just wrote you a letter saying, 'Let's end things here. You never keep your promises.'
"Harry, you can't even catch the Training Ball during practice anymore."
Will looked at Harry, his brow furrowed deeply. He hadn't expected this to be what was troubling Harry.
Apparently, Harry wasn't under enough pressure. While he and Dumbledore ran themselves ragged every day, Harry was busy having an international teenage romance-and getting his heart broken.
He and Dumbledore were shouldering the burden while Harry enjoyed a peaceful life, though admittedly, Will was doing it mostly for his own sake.
Still, to be honest, Will had never imagined this would be the reason Harry was so distracted.
Harry had performed well over the past few years, after all. He had even spent the last two summer holidays training under "Strange," who was actually the Sorting Hat in disguise.
