In the depths of winter, amidst wind and snow, a somber and desolate atmosphere prevails.

The wind and snow were so thick that they could drown out all other noises; this kind of weather was perfect for murder.

This is beneficial for these Death Eaters to complete their mission.

As they drew closer to the village, they gradually heard laughter, noise, and even music. The aroma of steak and turkey filled the air, making the eyes of the cold and hungry Death Eaters turn green.

"Gurgle~ Gurgle~"

One of the Death Eaters ' stomachs made a startling noise, and Death Eaters eyes turned to him.

What are you looking at?

The Death Eaters, however, was nonchalant. "Do you think anyone would hear me? With this wind and snow, no one could hear me even if I spoke this loudly!"

"Shut up, Repton!" The lead Death Eaters glared at him fiercely. "You can eat whatever you want after the mission is over! Don't act like Troll who's never eaten!"

Repton fell silent, only rubbing his stomach.

Christmas Eve did make it difficult for them to concentrate. Finally, taking advantage of the wind and snow, they reached the edge of the village, and the Death Eaters at the head signaled for everyone to stop.

He then addressed the crowd, saying, "According to intelligence, the Appleby family members are in these two houses; the rest are ordinary Muggle."

We'll split up, surround both houses, and then attack simultaneously. Once we've subdued them, our mission will be complete.

By then, everyone can enjoy the Christmas feast. Repton, you'll have to do your best later.

Repton couldn't help but lick his lips, his eyes gleaming with hunger. "I'll kill them all."

"Fools, our mission is to capture them, not kill them!" the leader of the Death Eaters hissed. "Surround them! Prepare to capture them alive!"

The dozen or so people split into two teams. The Death Eaters hugged the wall and slowly approached the window. Death Eaters walked slowly and gradually surrounded the outer buildings.

The sounds of conversation, clinking glasses, and Knife and Fork could already be heard coming from inside.

"Eat turkey! Eat turkey!"

"The steak was great, and the pie was delicious too!"

Joy Christmas, Uncle Tristan!

Could you pour me a glass of Wine?

Judging from the sounds, a banquet is taking place inside, and the atmosphere is exceptionally festive.

Everyone looked at the Death Eaters leader, who gestured. "Attack!"

Repton kicked open the door, Wand already in hand, and the instant he entered, he exclaimed, "I faint!"

The incantation stuck in his throat—he was completely dazed.

There was no one in the room, but the roast turkey on the table was glistening with oil, and the steak was still steaming.

However, the most eye-catching item was the large Recording Crystal, Crystal was emitting loud conversations and laughter.

"This is fucking—" Repton realized what was happening, "A trap!"

"Withdraw!"

Before Repton's roar had even faded, a blinding red light exploded from behind him.

"Expelliarmus!"

The spell slammed into Repton's back, his Wand flew from his hand, and he staggered and fell onto the dining table, burying his face in the roast turkey and instinctively taking a big bite.

"Enemy attack!"

The Death Eaters who followed him in reacted incredibly quickly, turning around almost instantly, his Wand tracing an arc. "Protego!"

A Magic barrier unfolded before him, blocking the second Stunning Spell that followed.

But it was no use. Large numbers of figures poured out of the surrounding houses, and the light of the Charms merged into one in the wind and snow.

"Petrificus Totalus!"

"Stupefy!"

"Incarcerous!"

"Avada Kedavra!"

The spells rained down on the Death Eaters. The wind and snow were so heavy that visibility was extremely low, and the Death Eaters couldn't see the enemy's location at all. They could only fight back on Instinct.

The house they had just intended to attack had now become their last resort; the Death Eaters hid inside and continued to fight back.

"It's Auror! I can see the uniform clearly!"

"Damn it, we've been tricked! The intelligence was flawed!"

"Damn it, we've been ambushed! Repton, stop eating! FxxK!"

Repton, with a piece of beef stuffed in his mouth, said, "No problem! Protego! Confringo!"

The Exploding Charm flew out of the door, blasting a large hole in the Stone House opposite. Stone fragments shattered, and shards of rock struck several Auror, eliciting cries of pain.

However, an even larger rock came crashing down, about to hit an Auror on the head.

"Watch out!" Kingsley emerged from the shadows of a house, waving his Wand. "Wingardium - Leviosa!"

The Levitation Charm struck the rock, Kingsley shouted, "Run!"

The Auror leaped into the snow, escaping danger.

Kingsley pointed with his hand back. "Confringo!"

The spell exploded at the feet of a Death Eaters who hadn't yet entered the room. The Death Eaters was thrown back and crashed heavily into the wall, where he remained motionless.

Meanwhile, Lupin was directing the Order of the Phoenix to encircle the enemy.

"Two on the left! Three on the right! Don't let them attack from the window!"

"Remus," Moody's demonic eye spun wildly, "Why all the talk? Watch this! Confringo! Confringo! Confringo!"

Several Confringo struck the same house in succession, causing it to collapse and the roof to fall to the ground with a loud bang.

Snowflakes, pebbles, and dust flew everywhere, creating a chaotic scene and further intensifying the atmosphere of the battlefield.

"Alastor!" Lupin shouted, "We have to take him alive!"

Upon hearing this, Moody abruptly stopped what he was doing: "The house is collapsing—"

He had intended to Deprimo, but stopped himself after listening to Lupin.

However, the Order of the Order of the Phoenix and the Auror have an absolute advantage. They have set a trap and are waiting for the enemy to tire themselves out. They are currently outnumbered, so there is no reason for them not to win.

However, even with Lupin's command, Moody still unleashed a Confringo at the window, widening it even further. The Auror targeted the window and attacked, as wind, snow, and Charms poured into the room, making it bitterly cold.

Surrounded by the crowd, several Death Eaters were struck by the spell, some were tripped by an invisible barrier, and others were hit by the green Avada Kedavra and collapsed to the ground.

"Damn it! Damn it! Protego Protego!" Seeing the Death Eaters around him fall one by one, the leader of the Death Eaters was shocked. He waved his Wand repeatedly, deflecting three spells in succession.

"You despicable bastards! All you do is set ambushes!" the leader of the Death Eaters roared, but the next moment—

A Disarming Charm struck his wrist from a tricky angle.

The Wand slipped from his hand, and he cried out in pain. His hand reached for a secondhand Wand that he had prepared beforehand, but before his hand could even touch Wand, a huge Black Dog pounced into the house from the doorway.

With a leap, it knocked him to the ground, its paws pressing down on his face, slamming him hard onto the snow-covered floor.

"Well done, Sirius!" Moody shouted. "That Disarming Charm of yours was perfectly timed."

It turns out that the Disarming Charm was cast by Sirius.

"Alright, let's take these people under control first," Lupin interrupted the two. "Let's also check under that house to see if anyone is still alive."
