The state of the Wizarding World
"No need to be so polite, Will," Slughorn said hastily. "What is it? I'll do everything in my power to help."
Slughorn had realized that Will was his chance to make history.
Will laughed and said, "Then I won't stand on ceremony. It's about the compilation of ' The Biography of Behrens.' I need you and Worple to make all the preparations and supervise Worple to write all of these things down."
Furthermore, the final version needs to be completed and printed before the end of this semester, and I want to see the original copy of the book in the summer.
"What? You want Worple to write all of this down? And is it really necessary to rush this? You don't graduate until next year." Slughorn looked surprised.
Will replied calmly, "Yes, everything; as for the timing, you don't need to worry about that. I have my reasons. I must see this book this summer."
So, I need to see the final draft by at least May.
"But... this is too outrageous. Wizard in the Wizarding World won't believe it, and besides, Worple might not even write it down."
Will shook his head. "Worple's matter is still your responsibility, and the Wizard will certainly believe you."
Are you so sure?
"Yes," Will said calmly, "No one will doubt it, because reality will prove everything."
Slughorn looked at Will's smiling face and suddenly realized that Will was far more terrifying than Tom.
He could only nod. "Okay, I'll have a good talk with Worple."
Although I don't know why Will said that, I imagine Will wouldn't talk nonsense.
Will offered no explanation, after all, everything would be revealed this summer.
By then, whatever Worple writes, the Wizard will believe it without question; all he needs to do is end Voldemort and become the true the Chosen One of the Wizarding World.
Dumbledore has been feeling uneasy lately.
At 12 Grimmauld Place, in the conference room at the headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix, Dumbledore was speaking with several key members of the Order of the Phoenix.
He looked at Moody beside him. "How's things going on your end, Alastor?"
Moody took a sip of his drink from the curved bottle. "Very good, both ambush battles went smoothly, they didn't cause much damage."
Dumbledore felt a little relieved.
"Remus, what about over there?"
Lupin quickly replied, "Our cooperation with the Auror is becoming increasingly close, and we're much stronger than before; the last battle in Wales went much better than when we first started working together, and Charlie even calmed down the green dragon that was almost scared away. He's a very capable young man."
Dumbledore smiled slightly when he heard Charlie's name, "Yes, he's a good lad, willing to return to England and join us at this time."
This would involve taking a huge risk.
Lupin said thoughtfully, "He is very capable, Professor Dumbledore. I think we can let him take charge of more tasks, after all, we are indeed short-handed right now."
"If we had had a good lad like Charlie back in Upper Flagley (Note 1), there probably wouldn't have been so many casualties."
Dumbledore nodded. "That's certainly worth considering. Let Charlie learn from you for a while, Remus. After that, we can assess his abilities and learning progress, and then decide on a suitable position for him."
"This is a message from Ms. Bones, Professor Dumbledore." Meanwhile, Kingsley handed Dumbledore an envelope.
Dumbledore took the envelope and, somewhat wearily, pulled out a few sheets of paper.
When he left Hogwarts, he spent a lot of time coordinating personnel and handling affairs within the Order of the Phoenix, much like an old marshal strategizing during wartime.
The Death Eaters continued their attacks, constantly creating panic.
Diagon Alley, St. Mungo's's, the Leaky Cauldron, the Welsh Green Reserve, several Wizard villages... all were targets of the Death Eaters ' attacks.
The Order of the Phoenix and the Ministry of Magic have been trying to thwart the Death Eaters ' actions, but the Wizarding World remains in turmoil and chaos.
That's precisely why Dumbledore was even more eager to speed up the process of eliminating Voldemort.
He opened Amelia Bones ' letter, which detailed the major and minor events that had occurred in the Wizarding World recently.
For example, a significant personnel change and official transfer within the Ministry of Magic — Ludo Bagman was to lead a team away from England to Austria to work with America Wizard to build Magical University.
Dumbledore had heard about the Magical University before, but hadn't had time to look into it in detail. He heard that it was the next step in the Wizard education Wizarding World in both Britain and America, and that Dumbledore personally supported it.
Moreover, with the Magic governments of the two major Magic nations taking the lead, there's a high chance there won't be any problems.
The fact that the Magical University was located in Austria was something that bothered Dumbledore, but he didn't have time to worry about it right now.
Dumbledore continued reading. "Hmm, the Ministry of Magic is currently preparing to crack down on the Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers."
Dumbledore frowned: The letter said that the Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers had serious internal problems, and various irregularities had led to a long-term shortage of medicines at St. Mungo's's Hospital.
Scrimgeour is now preparing to send people to thoroughly investigate the Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers and is considering formally incorporating the Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers into the Ministry of Magic's management system.
Amelia Bones said that if this were to happen, the Ministry of Magic would likely create a new Logistics Department to handle resource allocation during wartime.
Dumbledore was actually in favor of it—he would naturally approve of anything that benefited the Ministry of Magic and the Order of the Phoenix.
Thinking back to how Kingsley almost died from a lack of Blood-Replenishing Potion, Dumbledore actually hoping Scrimgeour would act sooner.
Dumbledore than ten minutes later.
"I'm planning to go to the Ministry of Magic in the next couple of days..."
Note 1: Upper Flagley is a village of England Wizard.
