"Ha! Ha..."
In the Corridor outside the Potions Classroom, Jerry, who had been thrown out early by Snape, finally couldn't hold back his laughter.
"Jerry, are we really going to be all right?" Hermione asked quietly.
"Don't worry. Class is nearly over anyway, and we've already finished the assignment Professor Snape gave us!" Jerry said, pointing at the clock.
"All right. I hope Professor Snape won't give us trouble in Potions Class from now on!"
Having been dismissed early, the two of them arrived in the Hogwarts Great Hall, sat down at an empty long Table, and enjoyed a lavish lunch.
Before long, students from the various houses began filing in. Dragged along by Ron and Neville, Harry stormed over to the long Table and sat down, then launched into a furious tirade about Snape.
"What happened? Why is he so angry?" Jerry asked Neville, pointing at Harry.
"It was terrifying!" Neville couldn't help shuddering, his whole body trembling with fear. "After you two left, Snape kept taking points off for the potions we'd brewed. He was especially hard on Harry's potion—he said it was completely worthless!"
Jerry: "..."
On Saturday morning, the sky was a brilliant blue and the sun shone brightly, sweeping away the winter gloom. It was a rare day of fine weather, and the warm sunshine outside the castle felt wonderfully pleasant!
Jerry was discussing going outside the castle with Hermione later when a shrill cry interrupted them. A Hufflepuff student rushed into the castle in a panic, shouting for help.
"Calm down. Tell me what happened!" Seeing that the newcomer belonged to his house, the Hufflepuff prefect immediately ran over to support the swaying student and questioned him.
"Filch... Filch's been attacked! There's so much blood! He's... he's in the Second Floor Corridor!"
