"Hurry up, hurry up! What took you two so long?"
On the Second Floor of Hogwarts, Hermione stood at the entrance to Moaning Myrtle's Bathroom, urging Harry and Ron inside.
"I've been waiting here for almost an hour. I added more Lacewing Flies to the potion, and it finished brewing ages ago."
"You're the one who got here too early!" Ron grumbled.
"Where's Jerry? Isn't he here yet?" Harry asked, looking around as he entered the bathroom.
"Jerry... Jerry had something to do early this morning, so he went out!"
"Where did he go? He's not at Hogwarts? Then how will we get the Slytherin password?"
"Stop worrying about Jerry and focus on what you need to do! As for the password, don't worry. Jerry told me this morning: Pure-blood!" Hermione took out three glasses and set them in front of the cauldron, ready to fill them with Polyjuice Potion.
"Hermione, you're not planning to come to the Slytherin Common Room with us, are you?" Harry asked, eyeing the three glasses.
"Why would I want to go there? I'm just curious about what Polyjuice Potion does. It's incredible—you can become someone else!"
"All right, Jerry was right. Hermione, you're definitely not an eagle! The Sorting Hat was right not to put you in Ravenclaw!"
"Did you get the hair I told you to get?" Hermione ignored them, keeping her eyes on the potion in the cauldron.
"Goyle and Crabbe are unbelievably stupid! We put sleeping pills in their cakes. They're probably still asleep in a corner of the Great Hall!" Harry grumbled, pulling a few strands of black hair from his pocket.
"Good. I'll pour the potion into the three glasses, then add the hair."
"Don't tell me... that's Jerry's hair!" Harry and Ron gave Hermione odd looks.
