Early the next morning, students trickled into the Great Hall at Hogwarts, but Hermione seemed weighed down by worries. She stared at the roast tomatoes on the table, with no appetite at all.

Seeing how listless Hermione looked, Neville asked curiously, "Hermione, what's wrong? Are you worried about Jerry? Didn't he find his family? That should be a good thing."

"Exactly! I'm actually quite jealous of Jerry. I'd love to find a relative who cared about me, then move away from the Dursleys and live with him. Wouldn't that be great?" Harry agreed.

Ron spoke indifferently between large mouthfuls of sausage. "Right, exactly. Jerry's grandfather is Professor Dumbledore, widely acknowledged as the greatest wizard of our time! What's there to worry about?"

Hermione, however, seemed unusually agitated. She stabbed her fork hard into a roast tomato and snapped, "Can't you use your brains? Why would someone publicize this so widely out of nowhere? They must have some ulterior motive!"

"I'm not worried about Jerry right now. I just want a chance to teach Malfoy a proper lesson!" Harry suddenly said through gritted teeth.

At his words, everyone turned to look at Malfoy nearby. He was telling a group of Slytherin students something that seemed to be a particularly funny, ridiculous story.

Then Malfoy deliberately pretended to faint, provoking a roar of laughter from the Slytherin students around him.

Watching this, Neville asked the others in bewilderment, "What are they doing?"

"Dunno," Ron mumbled through a mouthful of sausage. "But with that smug look on Malfoy's face, it can't be anything good."

Just then, a Slytherin girl, Pansy Parkinson, hurried over to Harry. Her face bore a striking resemblance to a pug's, and she said shrilly, "Potter! Boo-hoo-hoo! The Dementors are coming!"
