The students carefully crossed the slippery Entrance Hall, stumbling slightly with every step, and finally pushed open the imposing double doors on the right. Looking thoroughly disgruntled, Ron grumbled quietly to Harry and Neville, occasionally brushing the wet hair away from his face.
The Great Hall was as magnificent as ever, with an extra touch of elegance in its carefully arranged decorations for the new term's feast. Hundreds upon hundreds of candles floated like stars above the dining tables, their soft, bright light making the golden plates and goblets gleam.
The enchanted ceiling mirrored the sky outside. Beneath the dark canopy, gray-black clouds churned and rolled, just like the changing weather in the heavens.
