Harry and the others stumbled into the gloomy old house's basement kitchen. The remains of a cold dinner still sat on the table.

"More of this rubbish!" Kreacher the House-elf tugged at the rag around his waist and glared at Harry and the others with malicious delight. "Is their father going to die?"

"Get out!" Sirius strode into the kitchen and roared at Kreacher.

Malice gleamed in Kreacher's eyes. He muttered something and disappeared through the doorway.

"What happened?" Sirius asked urgently. "Phineas suddenly showed up and said Arthur was badly hurt!"

At Sirius's words, everyone looked at Harry.

"I... had a terrible nightmare," Harry began.

He recounted the latter half of his dream, deliberately leaving out the part involving Jerry.

He changed one thing, though: he made it sound as if he had stood nearby and watched the great snake attack Mr. Weasley, rather than seeing it all through the snake's eyes...

Ron, still deathly pale, shot Harry a quick glance but said nothing.

When Harry finished, Fred, George and Ginny stared at him in silence for a long moment.

Harry lowered his head, avoiding their eyes. He thought he saw blame in their gazes.

"When is Mum coming?" the twins asked Sirius.

"Molly may not know yet. Dumbledore should be telling her now."

"Then let's go to the hospital!" Ginny said anxiously.

"Wait, Ginny!" Sirius stopped her at once. "You can't just rush to the hospital!"

"He's our dad. Of course we can go!" Fred said, holding his ground.

"And how will you explain to everyone else how you knew Arthur was hurt? The hospital hasn't notified you!"

"Why does that matter?" Fred shot back.

"Because it matters a great deal!" Sirius raised his voice angrily. "What will you say? That Harry dreamed it? We
