As she spoke, she moved to lead her sister in kneeling and bowing to Xiao Yan.

Supporting each sister by the shoulder and arm, Xiao Yan smiled gently. "We're on the same side. There's no need for that. As for thanking me, there's plenty of time later."

Seeing his smile so close, Medusa blushed and softly agreed.

Her younger sister was the livelier of the two. Her eyes darted back and forth between Xiao Yan and Medusa.

She remembered Xiao Yan muttering something about a "sister-in-law" in the dream. Her bright eyes curved into crescents, and with a mischievous smile, she called out to him:
