In her youth, Xian Lin'er was a supreme genius of Shrek Academy's Martial Soul Department, comparable to Yan Shaozhe. After problems in their relationship, including Yan Shaozhe's involvement with Cai Mei'er, she left the department to avoid working alongside him and joined the Soul Tool Department instead. She retained a lasting resentment toward Yan Shaozhe and takes particular satisfaction in surpassing or frustrating him. 54 97

As dean of the Soul Tool Department, she became an influential academy figure while pursuing high-level Soul Tool research.
