At Shrek Academy, Wang Dong initially presented herself as male. She met Ye Chen during a running drill and challenged him to a race, only to be shocked by his stamina and Soul Ancestor cultivation. Her curiosity overcame her suspicion when Ye Chen offered to demonstrate his supposed “Secret Art,” allowing her to experience Resonance cultivation for the first time. 19 20
