When Sasuke Uchiha received Hagoromo Otsutsuki's Yin Power, he concentrated it all in one eye. As a result, one eye became a Six-Tomoe Rinnegan, while the other remained an Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.
Uchiha Yi had already possessed the Rinnegan, and now he had fused it with the Eye Power of another pair. Each of his eyes held roughly the power of one Rinnegan. Like Sasuke Uchiha, he gained the Six-Tomoe Rinnegan, but in both eyes, and his Eye Power rose dramatically.
More importantly, his Six-Tomoe Rinnegan gained two new Dōjutsu. Perhaps because he had absorbed the Eye Power of Madara Uchiha's Rinnegan, one of his newly awakened abilities was Madara Uchiha's Limbo: Border Jail.
The Dōjutsu in his other eye was Yomotsu Hirasaka, the ultimate Space-Time Ninjutsu that only Kaguya Ōtsutsuki and Urashiki Otsutsuki could use.
For traveling through space alone, Yomotsu Hirasaka might not be more useful than the Flying Thunder God Technique. But it was an ultimate Space-Time Ninjutsu, and Uchiha Yi could use it to cross through space.
With Yomotsu Hirasaka, Uchiha Yi was confident he could deal with Obito Uchiha easily, even if they met in the future.
