"Looks like you understand!" Mito Uzumaki paused, then continued. "Both Monkey and Danzo were taught by Tobirama. They inherited some things from him, but not his courage or force of character.
"If Tobirama wanted something done, he had no need to skulk around like Danzo. He made others follow his lead, and more often than not, he was right.
"Apart from Hashirama, I never saw Tobirama yield to anyone.
"And when Tobirama yielded to Hashirama, it wasn't because Hashirama was right. It was because Hashirama was his older brother. The two were very close, and Tobirama respected him deeply.
"In fact, Tobirama didn't support founding Konoha at first. Hashirama eventually won him over, and afterward Tobirama took on many duties that should have belonged to the Hokage.
"Tobirama held the Senju Clan dear. He spent half his life fighting for it, yet for Konoha's sake, he chose to dissolve it.
"Madara Uchiha once proposed destroying the Five Great Nations and making Konoha the only Ninja Village in the Shinobi World. I knew Tobirama supported him then. He also believed it was necessary. Tobirama had already foreseen the state the Shinobi World would reach today.
"But Hashirama disagreed, and we truly didn't have enough capable people. So we had no choice but to work with the Daimyō and establish the One Country, One Village system."
"Everyone has their own ideas and convictions. Perhaps, to the Second Hokage, Hashirama Senju mattered most in those early days?

"Perhaps." Mito Uzumaki's eyes flickered. "If you were going after Shimura Danzō, what would you do?"
"Go after Danzo? I'd break into the Root Base and find every piece
