"So the Sage of Six Paths has been protecting them to some extent all along?" Yi asked, narrowing his eyes.
"Not just that. One of Asura's daughters married a later Daimyō, so the Daimyō's family has always been on fairly good terms with the Senju Clan," the Great Toad Sage explained. "And now, besides the Senju Clan, the Ōtsutsuki Clan on the moon may have ties to them as well. Hamura's wife had connections to the Daimyō's family, too."
Yi nodded in understanding. Well, well. Both Hagoromo and Hamura Otsutsuki had ties to the Daimyō.
"But that was centuries ago. Hagoromo wouldn't still be looking after them now. I simply don't know how things stand today," the Great Toad Sage added.
"I see. Thank you." Yi smiled. "Please keep an eye out for information on Ōtsutsuki Isshiki. If you find him, don't make any rash moves. I don't think I'm a match for him yet."
"Ōtsutsuki Isshiki..." The Great Toad Sage nodded slightly. "If you need us, Mount Myōboku will do everything it can to help you."
