Compared with Killer B, the Eight-Tails' Jinchūriki, Yugito was nowhere near as skilled at using her Tailed Beast's power.
Facing the Nine-Tails now, who knew whether the Two-Tails could even put up a fight?

"Hmph. Pointless resistance." Kushina Uzumaki snorted and handed control back to the Nine-Tails. They got along well now, and she knew it had grown bored inside her. She did not mind letting it have this fight. She would have plenty of other chances to battle.
Only fights against Tailed Beasts would go to the Nine-Tails, of course.
The Nine-Tails' nine tails swayed as it eyed the Two-Tails with eager interest.
The Two-Tails bristled at its hostile gaze.
