"Changing the shape of Chakra? Didn't you practice that when you were developing Chidori?
"Or are you going to create a new Ninjutsu?" Mito Uzumaki never doubted Uchiha Yi's ability to create techniques. Compared with Madara Uchiha, Yi reminded her more of Tobirama Senju.
"Yeah. I didn't fight Jirabi, but I could clearly see Chidori's weaknesses. With my current abilities, I can't improve it any further.

Yi would certainly keep researching Chidori, but it was time to develop the Rasengan too.
"Chidori's strengths are its piercing power and speed, but it really doesn't pair well with the Flying Thunder God Technique." Mito nodded thoughtfully. "Tobirama once considered using Explosive Tags to solve that problem, or combining swordsmanship with the Flying Thunder God Technique to perform the Flying Thunder God Slash."
Mito already knew Yi had mastered the Flying Thunder God Technique. She was pleased that he could use it and did not see him as a threat.
For Kushina Uzumaki, at least, Yi's mastery of
