Before long, Ye Chuqi came face-to-face with a mid-rank magic beast.
The Greatsword's edge gleamed subduedly. Without hesitation, Ye Chuqi charged straight at the snarling mid-rank magic beast.
It was a black-skinned pig, one of the most common magic beasts in the Lost Forest, but one that found it extremely difficult to advance. Most were only first or second rank. "Don't get so excited!" San San sounded utterly unruffled. The black-skinned pig posed no threat to Ye Chuqi as far as San San was concerned, leaving plenty of room for a relaxed joke. "I'm telling the truth. Black-skinned pigs already have excellent meat. Some adventurers go into the Lost Forest specifically to hunt them, just for that meat."
Expressionless, Ye Chuqi stamped her foot and darted past the black-skinned pig, listening to the sound of trees snapping behind her. "Kiddo, eating wild animals
