The mirror frame was pitch black, making it impossible to discern what kind of patterns were carved upon it, while fine cracks seemed to ripple across the silvery mirror surface. The entire mirror looked fragile and delicate, as though it would shatter into smithereens at the next moment.
Pei Ling set Qiao Ranran down, yet still kept her encircled within his embrace so she could see more clearly without having to strain her neck. "Don't be fooled by its appearance. The cracks on the mirror surface are spatial traces, not scars."
