Li Changqing raised an eyebrow. The Dragon Duke had sharp eyes to recognize him at once. He said nothing, though. His golden Bone Wings beat, and he soared into the sky again.

After Li Changqing left, the Dragon Duke breathed a sigh of relief.

Snake Granny looked at him in confusion. What sort of young man could make the Dragon Duke address him as Your Eminence?

Meng Yiran's face was full of resentment. After all, that was the Soul Ring she had set her sights on.

The Dragon Duke explained, "Don't be upset, Yiran. That was Li Changqing, the man who fought the Pope of Spirit Hall three years ago."

"What?!"

Snake Granny and Meng Yiran cried out together. They were immensely relieved they had not said anything disrespectful and provoked Li Changqing's wrath.

Meng Yiran looked at him pleadingly. "Then what about my Soul Ring? Two suitable ones in a row have been taken from me."

Meng Shu sighed helplessly. "We'll have to keep looking."

Li Changqing soon reached Holy Soul Village. Without alerting anyone, he flew above the mountains not far from the village.

He spread out his spiritual senses and came to a great waterfall. A cave lay hidden behind it.
