Shipyard No. 1 was a wreck after the massive tsunami. Still, there was enough solid ground to stand on. After leaving the Franky Family's place, Rubick and his two companions came here.
Inside the shipyard, Galley-La Company workers were scrambling to salvage the facilities.
Rubick asked, "Mayor, you're an expert shipbuilder yourself. Could you design an Airship?"
Iceburg stared at him. "An Airship?"
"That's right. One that can fly ten thousand meters into the sky."
Iceburg gave him a look that said he had to be joking.
Rubick took out a Business Card. The front bore the flag of the Sky Country; the back listed his name, position, and Den Den Mushi number.
"Allow me to introduce myself. I'm the king of the Sky Country. My country is ten thousand meters above the ground, so we need Airships to trade with the outside world."
Iceburg accepted the finely made Business Card and said in surprise, "Sky Islands really exist?"
Rubick opened a Portal and gestured toward it. "See for yourself. After you."
The weather in Water 7 was still gloomy, but brilliant sunlight shone on the other side of the Portal.
Before he knew it, Iceburg had followed Rubick and Robin through the Portal. Sharp-eyed Barry slipped in after them.
Rubick's portal opened beneath the vines. The clouds of the Middle Layer had been cleared away, revealing a bustling scene.
"The king! The king is back!"
The people of the Sky Country rushed over in excitement. Many had seen Rubick step out of the strange doorway with their own eyes.
Prime Minister Kapa and Fleet Admiral Foer were delighted too. Rubick hadn't lied to them. He really had found the Door-Door Fruit and returned.
Rubick greeted them, then smiled at Iceburg and Barry. "Welcome to the Sky Country, you two."
