Moving like a soulless robot, Luo came over to Rubick. "Aren't we leaving right away? Doflamingo will be here soon."
"Even if he comes, we don't have to be afraid," Rubick said. "I'm no match for Kaido, but I can handle Doflamingo."
"Then when he gets here, we can all attack together and kill him on the spot," Luo said. "Wouldn't that be perfect?"
"That doesn't serve my interests."
Rubick refused. If he was going to take down Doflamingo, it had to be on the grand stage of Dressrosa. Just like in Alabasta, Doflamingo was a thief who had stolen a country. If Rubick made his move, he needed to appear as its savior.
Who would thank him for killing Doflamingo out in the middle of nowhere?
Luo grew anxious. "Then what do you stand to gain? We can work together. Doflamingo is the first step, and Kaido comes next. If my plan goes smoothly, we can take them both down this year."
