Hades and the others waited outside the delivery room.
Only two minutes passed.
"Ah!"
A scream rang out, followed by a commotion inside the delivery room.
Shock, fear, and joy swept through the room.
The door suddenly opened, and a disheveled doctor fled out.
"Monster! A monster!"
A nurse trembled in terror, her clothes and face spattered with blood.
"What happened?"
Hades blocked her path, his invisible presence rooting her to the spot.
She dared not resist him. Trembling, she told him what she had seen.
Her account made Hades and the others exchange looks of surprise and delight.
The first baby had grabbed the nurse delivering him and crushed her arm. Then he had accidentally kicked her head apart.
He had been born with such terrifying strength, and he was anything but quiet.
The second baby was calmer, but as soon as he came out, he started fighting the first.
They rushed into the delivery room. It was in chaos: the staff were either fleeing or hiding in corners.
The two newborns lay on the floor, instinctively swinging their fists at each other or grabbing each other's arms.
Charlotte Linlin sat on the bed beneath a blanket, grinning with excitement.
"How lively my babies are!"
"You must have been cramped in there!"
To Charlotte Linlin, all that commotion just meant they were a little lively.
She saw nothing wrong with it. In fact, Hades felt the same way.
The two children had already proved they were born monsters.
Hades glanced around, then gave Streusen a look.
Streusen understood. He was not Hades's subordinate, but this was something he needed to do anyway.
Charlotte Linlin was not strong enough yet. Word of these two children could not get out.
Apart from their group, everyone who knew had to be silenced.
