Chief of Staff Tsuru turned and glanced at Cyrik. Their gazes met in midair.
Cyrik had grown ever more mysterious, especially after his hidden identity had been exposed.
Looking at Cyrik, Tsuru could not help thinking of Kyle.
There was something questionable about Cyrik's origins. While investigating him, she had noticed something amiss.
She had no evidence, but suspicion was enough.
They had entered the Elite Training Camp in the same year. Both excelled at swordsmanship, both were widely learned, and both were capable of almost anything.
They also both had Devil Fruit powers and were the same age.
Tsuru often felt that Cyrik and Kyle were remarkably alike.
Kyle's exceptional abilities made sense: he was Hades's son and came from the Kronos Kingdom.
But what about Cyrik?
They were like two blooms from the same flower, opening in opposite directions.
Long ago, after Kyle's true identity had been exposed, an astonishing thought had taken root in Tsuru's mind.
As time passed, that thought only grew stronger.
If it was true, it was terrifying.
Tsuru had kept the suspicion to herself. She had not told Sengoku.
After all, they already knew who had founded the Dark Sun Order. Even if this other identity was real, knowing it would change nothing.
Whatever the truth, Cyrik had done the Navy no harm.
If he ever wanted to, though, he could cause the Navy enormous trouble.
Tsuru did not want to cross that red line. For the Navy, doing so could prove fatal.
It might even drag the World Government and the Kronos Kingdom into it. Some things were better left unknown.
She had concealed the news that Cyrik had founded the Dark Sun Order. All the more reason to keep this to herself.
"Just as I'd expect from Tsuru."
Cyrik nodded slightly,
