The Royal Military Academy.
The central campus.
Towering spiral buildings rose one after another.
These were the Royal Military Academy's training grounds.
There were eight in all.
Each had eighteen floors.
Every floor was divided into four training zones.
Each zone was the size of a soccer field.
The Royal Military Academy grouped students into temporary units of three hundred. Each unit trained in one zone for at least three hours of high-intensity exercise every day.
Age made no difference. The stronger they were, the harder they trained.
Once an instructor judged someone capable of handling more, they were recommended for transfer to a higher-intensity training ground. Refusal was not an option.
Students began training as young as six. Everyone who entered the Royal Military Academy went through it.
During the process, many students' physical potential became clear, and assessors rated them solely on their strength and potential.
Ratings changed over time. Late bloomers were hardly rare, and some hidden talents took time to emerge.
Anyone who earned an A rating was transferred to the core training ground at the heart of the central campus.
This was where the Royal Military Academy's many monsters gathered. Every one of them was a future powerhouse of the Kingdom.
The instructors there designed grueling training plans for each student to draw out as much of their potential as possible.
Their training time was not limited to the basic three hours, either.
Three hours was merely the minimum. If they could handle it, they could train all day.
They had plenty of high-energy food to replenish every nutrient they needed.
There were hot springs, ice chambers, and even access to medical pods.
To encourage competition, a large Arena stood beside the core training ground.
Mornings were for training, followed by three hours of classes
