As they made their way through the city, the streets were deserted and every door and window was shut tight.
Officials from the Shogun's Residence led them inside.
A courtyard in the residence seemed to have been deliberately renovated and greatly expanded.
There, Wano Country's shogun, Kozuki Sukiyaki, and four Daimyo sat upright, watching the towering, terrifying figure before them.
"Huh? Where's Kozuki Oden?"
Zack sat in the seat of honor and smiled at the shogun and Daimyo seated to his left.
The officers of the Overlord Dragon Pirates and the other powerful pirates sat to his right.
Fine wine and food had already been prepared.
"My son has left Wano Country to seek adventure at sea, Lord Guardian King."
Kozuki Sukiyaki spoke with great respect.
Three months earlier, a letter had been sent from the Flower Capital to the Overlord Dragon Pirates.
Wano Country was willing to submit to Zack the "Overlord Dragon" and grant him the title of "Guardian King."
In return, it asked for three months to prepare.
After those three months, all of Wano Country would belong to the Overlord Dragon Pirates.
Of course, that submission came with conditions.
The people of Wano Country were to be treated well, while the Kozuki Clan and the Daimyo would retain control of their respective regions.
In short, Wano Country hoped to return to the peace it had once known.
In exchange, Wano Country would grant the Overlord Dragon Pirates unrestricted access to the mineral resources they wanted.
