Just as Hades had expected, Garp found no trace of Roger's wife on Baterilla Island in the South Blue.

The Navy was now conducting a world military draft with great fanfare.

There were no external wars, and no need to fight the great pirates of the New World.

Garp had found himself an easy assignment: catching pirates in the Four Seas while treating it as a vacation.

His first destination was the South Blue, rather than his homeland, the East Blue.

His real targets were, of course, the wife and child Roger had entrusted to him before his execution.

Garp and Roger had been both enemies and friends. He knew that if the World Government learned of this child's existence, it would never spare the child.
