Striking One After Another

"Admiral!"

The Marines aboard the Warship stared in shock. They had already braced themselves for the worst.

Suddenly, one Marine spotted a dark figure flying off the island during the explosion and falling into the water. He caught a glimpse of a tattered Justice Cape.

"Quick, rescue him! Someone fell into the water. It might be the Admiral!"

Davis was still alive. At the critical moment, he had covered his entire body in Armament Haki. That, along with his formidable vitality and physique, had carried him through the terrifying explosion.

But he had fallen unconscious. If no one had spotted him and come to his rescue, he might have drowned.

Even so, Davis was gravely injured.

"Cough, cough!" The moment Davis opened his eyes, he forced himself to his feet through the pain. The ship's doctor had given him basic treatment as soon as he was brought aboard.

"Check the island. Don't let that bastard get away."

"But Admiral, your injuries—"

"They're minor. Capturing the pirate comes first."

Every inch of the island's scorched earth radiated intense heat after the explosion.

Wendigo had not escaped. The blast had pushed his body almost to its limit.

He had exhausted too much strength and now lay unconscious. With his right arm gone, he could hardly resist.

"Take him into custody."

Seeing that Wendigo could no longer fight, Davis gave the order.

And so Davis defeated Wendigo, clapped Seastone Handcuffs on him, and captured him alive.

"We're leaving. Now."

Davis did not want to linger. The Rocks Pirates had surely heard the news, and reinforcements might already be on their way.

At that thought, the figure of "Lion Ghost" Shiki rose in his mind.

If anyone came, it would most likely be Shiki.

Davis wanted revenge, but in his current condition, fighting Shiki
