Selection and Membership

• Ancient Capital Academy holds a four-person-team tournament as a route to National Team selection. Zhou Sining qualifies for it, but joins the National Team as a reserve after missing the final selection ceremony 129 170.
• Mu Nujiao secures four votes to become an official member; Mo Fan also earns an official place before the training journey 166.
• At the Treasure Hunt Competition, the roster comprises eleven regular members and three substitutes, but China receives only ten contestant spots 366.

• Reserve members receive no resources from the team’s regular allocations. Training-site performance affects the amount awarded, and active places can change after allocations 207.
• Lu Yilin is expelled after using Zhou Sining as bait to escape Sea Monsters. Zhou is temporarily withdrawn while the mentors review the incident, then receives approval to rejoin 251 254 265.

Training Journey

• Qualification rules: The team travels between countries to gain combat experience and earn National Pavilion Recognition Badges. Its membership remains secret until the World Academy Competition’s opening ceremony in Venice 171 197.
• Feiniao City and Japan: Lacking valid travel documents, the team resolves Feiniao City’s Sea Monster problem to secure passage to Japan. It then travels to Osaka to challenge Japan’s National Pavilion 175 186 197.
• Australia: An overconfident four-person lineup loses to the Australian National Pavilion. The team later trains at the Great Barrier Reef, where members must hunt Sea Monsters in open water; after recovering from injuries, they return to challenge the pavilion again 225 226 231 238 239.
• Peru: A vast monster-bird horde forces the team to defend an ancient castle. Members subsequently split over whether to investigate the source of the attacks at Nazca 284 288.
• Mexico and the United States: The team secures Mexico’s National Pavilion Badge, then breaks the American National Pavilion’s recorded winning streak 304 307.
• Egypt: Egypt’s Recognition Badge completes the team’s stated badge requirement, but the mentors assign one more field-training mission involving an undead calamity before the journey to Venice 320 323.

World Academy Competition

• Ai Jiangtu draws the United Kingdom as China’s opponent in the opening group-stage match. China defeats Britain and finishes the group stage first with four straight victories, advancing to the final sixteen 347 353 366.
• During the Treasure Hunt Competition, Zhou Sining’s attacks eliminate numerous opposing contestants, while Mo Fan’s robberies provoke a six-nation alliance against him. Tournament officials allow their tactics under the existing rules 375 376.
• Internal rivalries remain visible during the hunt: Zu Jiming and Mu Tingying refuse to help the surrounded Mo Fan, Mu Ningxue and Ailin, and Guan Yu also leaves 376.
