"Next, the units." Uchiha En looked at Hyuga Hiashi. "The Barrier Corps will handle perimeter defense. The Medical Mobile Corps will handle rescue and treatment. The Engineering Corps will handle infrastructure and fortifications."

"The Special Reconnaissance Corps." His gaze settled on Hyuga Hiashi. "Infiltration, intelligence gathering, reconnaissance behind enemy lines. The Byakugan's powers of observation are made for it. I'd like the Hyuga Clan Head to command this unit."

Hyuga Hiashi fell silent for a moment.

He nodded slowly. "The Hyuga Clan accepts."

"The Corps Combat Unit." Uchiha En turned to Tsume Inuzuka. "Frontline combat, pursuit in the field, the main force in large-scale battles. The Inuzuka Clan's Ninja Dogs have keen noses and speed to spare, and your people don't shy away from a fight. I'd like the Inuzuka Clan Head to command this unit."

Tsume Inuzuka drew herself up. "Do you even have to ask? Leave it to me!"

"Clan Head Yamashita, Clan Head Yuki," Uchiha En said, his voice softening, "some of your people will join the Corps Combat Unit, and the rest will join the Barrier Corps. We'll settle their specific posts later."

Yamashita Masao and Yuki Yasuo nodded together. "Understood."

Once he had finished laying out the units, Uchiha En added one last thing:

"I also intend to form a Think Tank."

"I'll select ninja from Konoha who excel at planning, know intelligence work, and understand the bigger picture. They'll advise Konoha on strategy."

"I already have someone in mind. I'll invite him myself another day."

He said it lightly.
