The Fierce Beasts' roars rose and fell without cease.

"Probably more than that."

A steady humming sounded.
Yun Chang froze, then hurriedly looked down as well. The sight made him draw another sharp breath.
The sea was dropping fast!
It was as though the tide were going out.
Or as though some powerful, mysterious being were sucking the water straight out of the sea.
Before their eyes, the sea level rapidly sank lower and lower!

An immense wave towered so high it nearly pierced the Star Sea.
If the sheer number of waves they had seen before had left Yun Chang stunned, his scalp prickling, then this...
This immense wave filled him with true, bone-deep fear!
It was like a Mountain Peak of staggering height. Though still far away, it kept rising as it surged toward them.
