Qin Hao froze and looked down from the Inheritance Platform at the figure coming through the Divine Hall Gate.
The newcomer was a young man with delicate features, dressed in luxurious silk and looking barely into his twenties.
The young man caught sight of Qin Hao and paused too, surprise flickering in his eyes.
He seemed not to have expected anyone else to be there.

Golden light shimmered, and the golden barrier restored itself. The young man sat cross-legged, closed his eyes to rest, and said not a word.
Qin Hao did not study him, though surprise lingered in his eyes.
