As the young man finished speaking, several people turned to look at Jiang Cheng. They sized him up, their eyes carrying either challenge or wariness.
Jiang Cheng paid them no mind and let them stare.
After a few glances, the others closed their eyes again and settled down to rest.
Qin Hao's thoughts stirred.
Heavensea. The Jiang Family of Dragonwind Valley!
Qin Hao had seen their reactions.
Clearly, the Jiang Family was no small force in Heavensea.
Otherwise, these people would not have known of it, though they seemed less familiar with Jiang Cheng himself.
Qin Hao pondered this.
He also noticed that one young man had looked briefly bewildered before regaining his composure. The man said nothing.
Qin Hao's thoughts stirred again. "I'm Qin Hao. I'm not from Heavensea."
"Oh? You come from another realm?" Jiang Cheng seemed surprised.
He was not alone. The other young men who had just closed their eyes looked startled too.
Only the young man who had looked bewildered studied Qin Hao with a hint of recognition in his eyes.
Qin Hao understood.
Nine people had reached the inheritance platform so far. Most came from Heavensea. Only Qin Hao and that bewildered young man...
...were not from Heavensea!
Qin Hao had noticed the man's hesitation and confusion. That was why he had decided to reveal where he stood.
But he did not say which realm he came from.
Away from home, it paid to keep a few cards hidden.
"To think someone from outside Heavensea could reach the Inheritance Shrine." Jiang Cheng nodded slightly. Rather than looking down on Qin Hao, he regarded him with admiration. "Brother Qin, you've achieved this much despite coming from another realm. Your talent must be
