Devouring the Two-Tails, Returning to Konoha

After gravely wounding Yugito, the Two-Tails Jinchūriki, Naruto's Shadow Clone walked up with a grin. Five green flames flickered on the fingertips of his right hand.

With his left hand, he lifted Yugito's shirt to expose her stomach, then drove the fingers of his right hand into it.

"Five Elements Seal!"

"Ah!"

Yugito screamed in agony again, then passed out.

"Good. That should keep the Two-Tails quiet for a while."

The Shadow Clone slung Yugito over his shoulder and used the Flying Thunder God Technique to take Gaara and Karin back to Yukigakure.

Naruto dispelled the Shadow Clone and received its memories. He nodded approvingly at Gaara and Karin.

"You did well. I'll give each of you some Two-Tails Chakra next."

A day later, Naruto's Shadow Clone returned to the Land of Lightning with Gaara and Karin.

With the unconscious Yugito over his shoulder, the Shadow Clone smiled at them.

"Now we'll look for the Eight-Tails Jinchūriki. From what I know, he's somewhere in a canyon."

A vicious grin spread across Gaara's face at the Shadow Clone's words.

The Chakra he had gained through Samehada's devouring was entirely his own. Unlike before, he no longer had to borrow the One-Tail's Chakra and risk its influence and control.

Combined with the Huge Chakra Amount he already possessed, Gaara's Chakra reserves had reached an astonishing level. He could now use larger, more powerful Sand Release Ninjutsu.

His strength had grown considerably as a result.

So he was eager to capture another Tailed Beast and increase his Chakra reserves further.

Karin felt the same way. Her goal was to become a Ninja like Kisame, capable of unleashing vast amounts of Water Release and even creating a Ninjutsu Domain of her own.
