At the time, Otsutsuki Toneri had yet to obtain Hanabi's eyes, and he wasn't particularly strong.
When Naruto suddenly flew up to his doorstep on the moon, Toneri tried to attack him with the enormous Purple Tenseigan. But Naruto, who had mastered spatial abilities, pulled it straight into his Different Dimension.
Naruto's Different Dimension was now several times larger than Obito's original Kamui Dimension, though it still held nothing but empty ground.
That likely wouldn't remain the case. The Purple Tenseigan he had just seized was already casting its violet glow across the Different Dimension.
Outside, Otsutsuki Toneri stared in shock. Before he could react, Naruto knocked him to the ground with a punch.
Then Naruto roughly shoved an eyeball into Toneri's empty socket.
Otsutsuki Toneri froze, but soon his eye began to shine with a crystalline blue light.
He never imagined he would obtain the Tenseigan so easily!
He was about to cry out in delight, forgetting that Naruto, the one who had implanted the eye, was still beside him.
By the time he realized it, it was too late.
His head was already severed from his body, and the Tenseigan he had just obtained had been plucked right back out.
Naruto kicked the corpse aside, wandered around the Moon Base, and stowed the other enormous Yellow Tenseigan in his Different Dimension as well.
Finally, he vanished from the moon and appeared before Hinata in Konoha.
Both of Hinata's eye sockets were empty, her eyes gone, yet she sat quietly in her room.
"Hinata, I'm giving you your eyes back."
Naruto spoke with a smile as he placed the Tenseigan he had just removed onto a Bloodline Fusion Scroll.
Once the scroll began to glow, he pressed it against Hinata, and it slowly merged into her body.
