Not long after they reached another island by boat, Naruto and the others encountered Aoi, the Amegakure Jonin hired by the Heichi Group to lead its team.

He had once been a spy in Konoha and Idate Morino's teacher. He had tricked Idate into stealing top-secret intelligence.

It was much like the way Silly Mizuki had tricked Naruto into stealing the Scroll of Seals.

But Aoi had not only obtained the intelligence; he had also gotten his hands on Second Hokage Tobirama Senju's Sword of the Thunder God.

Ibiki Morino had soon recovered the intelligence, though, and driven away his younger brother, Idate Morino.

Now Aoi had appeared again, intent on killing his former gullible student, who was competing in the race.

Old enemies meeting again were bound to see red.

Naruto's eyes were fixed on something else: the Sword of the Thunder God in Aoi's hand.

It resembled a lightsaber from the Star Wars movies he had seen in his previous life and could channel a little lightning power.

Perhaps the brilliant Tobirama Senju had made it as some kind of advanced ninja tool. Its name sounded formidable, but it did not quite live up to it.

Still, Naruto himself had no suitable weapon right now. The Kusanagi Sword he had taken from Orochimaru's mouth could not be brought into the open, so only Female Avatar could use it.

Once he had enough points, he could exchange them for a Ninja Tool Upgrade Scroll and use it to turn this sword into a second divine artifact.

Of course, first he had to kill Aoi.

"Idate Morino! Long time no see." Aoi regarded his former gullible student with a mocking smile.

Seeing that the two of them were about to start talking, Naruto hurriedly cut in:
