After killing the three enemies on Ice Island, everyone learned Yukie's true identity.

Asama Sandayu explained that he wanted to help Yukie reclaim power.

"Naruto-kun, I know I hid the truth about this mission from Konoha. That was wrong of me."

In a secluded cabin, Asama Sandayu knelt before Naruto and pleaded:

"But I had no choice. If I'd told the truth from the start, Konoha would never have taken the mission."

Naruto understood what Sandayu meant.

As the Land of Fire's military force, Konoha would provoke other nations if it openly took part in a change of power in another country.

It might even start a war.

And in its weakened state, Konoha was even less likely to accept such a mission.

Naruto, however, did not refuse right away.

He thought for a moment. Once he had made up his mind and sensed no one nearby, he asked, "What do I get for helping you?"

"Ah? Well..." Sandayu had no answer.

He was only a minister. How could he make that decision for Yukie on the spot?

But remembering the strength Naruto had just shown, Sandayu gritted his teeth. "What do you want?"

"Heh. If the Land of Snow doesn't want someone else seizing power again, wouldn't it need a ninja village of its own?"

Naruto got straight to the point. "I want control of Yukigakure and the development and production of Chakra Armor."

"Wouldn't Konoha find out what you're doing?" Sandayu asked, puzzled.

"I'll send an associate here. She doesn't belong to any ninja village." Naruto fixed Sandayu with an intent stare.

After a moment's hesitation, Sandayu nodded.

It would benefit them both. Naruto was right: if the Land of Snow wanted to prevent another coup or invasion, it needed its own Yukigakure.
