With Samui helping out these past two days, Minato Namikaze had not been so overworked. He looked to be in a good mood. "Lord Hokage, did you need something?"
Uchiha Yin had never liked the way Minato Namikaze spoke. That cheeky tone made him want to reach over and smack him.
Fortunately, Uchiha Yin had some self-control. After a long moment, he managed to suppress the urge to hit him.
For once, he put on the airs of a Hokage and declared with full authority, "I'm here to inspect your work!"
Hinata had never seen Uchiha Yin look so serious. She gazed at him in admiration.
Minato Namikaze glanced at Uchiha Yin in surprise, then at Hinata beside him. He understood exactly why Uchiha Yin was putting on this act.
He held back his laughter and adopted a respectful expression. "Of course, Lord Hokage. Please look around."
Uchiha Yin was pleased that Minato Namikaze had caught on. He gave a showy nod and nudged Hinata toward Samui.
"Go on. Didn't you come to see her?"
Hinata did not react much to that, but excitement lit up Samui's face. Until then, she had not been sure why the child had come.
Samui had hardly dared hope Hinata had come specifically to see her.
Hearing it from Uchiha Yin finally convinced her, and she was even more touched.
But before that feeling had faded, guilt welled up again. She had promised to visit Hinata every day, yet she had broken her word so soon!
Chapter 730: Inspecting the Work
Samui was still sorting through her feelings when Hinata walked up and took her hand in her soft little one.
"Big Sister Samui, I know you're busy, so I came to see you!" she said in a sweet, gentle voice.
She tilted her
