If she had a choice, if she ever got another chance, Misty never wanted to taste Cynthia's cooking again.

But there was nothing she could do. Cynthia had already said it.

Misty was sure that when her break came, if she refused to eat, Cynthia would watch her until she swallowed every bite.

Looking at Cynthia, Misty couldn't help sighing inwardly. Such a lovely girl, and yet she dreams of becoming a master chef.

Wasn't that just hurting others without doing herself any good?

Worst of all, Cynthia had no idea how bad her cooking was. She firmly believed her food was the best.

And she never ate any herself, claiming she was afraid there wouldn't be enough for the others.

What a terrible excuse. They had never once worried there wouldn't be enough. If anything, they wished a few more people would show up to help them finish that awful meal.

Under Cynthia's watchful gaze, Jessie finally picked up her chopsticks and began to enjoy the "delicious" dinner.

Just then, an idea struck Jessie. She said brightly to Cynthia:

"Cynthia, I'm full! I don't need any more."

Hearing that, Cynthia asked doubtfully:

"Really, Jessie? You eat so little? That can't be right."

Jessie trembled at her words and hurriedly said, "No, no, I really am full. You don't have to worry about me."

Seeing Jessie insist she was full, Cynthia stopped pressing her to eat.

She merely said:

"All right. As long as you're full. From now on, treat this place like your own home. No need to be formal with us."

Seeing that Cynthia had let her off, Jessie felt a huge weight lift from her shoulders, and her spirits gradually rose.

Her thoughts began to wander.
