Marshadow looked at Xu Mu with suspicion when he heard that.
Would this man really keep his word?
Marshadow took a careful look around.
Sure enough, countless Pokémon surrounded him!
They were all fighting.
Only then did Marshadow realize this man had so many Pokémon!
If he went with Xu Mu,
maybe he really wouldn't have to keep fighting.
That sounded wonderful!
But then another problem came to mind.
How was he supposed to explain it to his brothers?
His brothers were fierce, to say the least.
There was no reasoning with them!
What if they found out he'd joined the enemy?
What if they beat him up again?
That would hardly be worth it!
Seeing Marshadow's expression,
Xu Mu understood what was worrying him.
He quickly said to Marshadow,
"Don't worry!"
"Do you think they can even touch you?"
Marshadow followed Xu Mu's gaze.
There were his brothers,
getting pummeled by Xu Mu's Pokémon!
Necrozma in particular was taking an even worse beating from Lugia.
At the sight, Marshadow seemed to understand what would happen if he refused to surrender.
He looked at Xu Mu
and said timidly,
"I'll go with you!"
"Just don't let them hit me!"
Xu Mu was delighted to hear it.
Who would have thought it?
He'd come out here and picked up an Ultra Beast.
Then Xu Mu turned his gaze to the other Ultra Beasts.
An idea began to form.
Why let these Ultra Beasts waste their time here
when they could follow him and accomplish great things?
(The Ultra Beasts: You're unbelievable!) ...

Xu Mu called out to every Pokémon on the battlefield.
They all turned to look at him strangely.
Only Lugia muttered inwardly,
