Necrozma looked furious.
"You fat bird!"
"Don't think that was all I've got!"
"Just watch!"
"I'll show you how I kill you!"
As he spoke, Necrozma's eyes filled with murderous intent.
To be fair, Necrozma had it pretty rough.
After all, Lugia was one of Xu Mu's veteran powerhouses.
Lugia had been formidable to begin with, and Xu Mu's training had made him even stronger.
Necrozma had simply picked the wrong opponent!
Lugia heard what Necrozma called him.
He didn't get angry.
He just looked at Necrozma and smiled gently.
"Sure!"
"I'll be waiting!"
With that, Lugia laughed at Necrozma.
But Necrozma had no idea what Lugia meant.
Meanwhile, Xu Mu was acting like a spectator.
He wandered from one fight to another, tossing out a few remarks here and there.
He made the wild Ultra Beasts furious, yet none of them could lay a hand on him!
Xu Mu returned to Lugia's side.
"Lugia!" he shouted.
"Can you hurry it up?"
"You're taking forever!"
"At this rate, I won't let you fight again!"
Lugia froze when he heard Xu Mu.
Then he said in alarm, "Wait!"
"I'll finish this right now!"
With that, he flew toward Necrozma.
"Hey, your partner's down!"
Just as Necrozma hit the ground, Greninja stared helplessly at Marshadow.
The little Pokémon before him was Marshadow, a Pokémon timid by nature.
Marshadow was looking at Greninja in terror!
"I won't fight!"
"I'd rather die than fight!"
Marshadow stood opposite Greninja,
trembling.
Greninja felt helpless. If Marshadow wouldn't fight, he could at least surrender!
But he wouldn't surrender either!
Greninja looked at Marshadow and said,
"Then what do you want me to do?"
"Everyone else is fighting for their lives!"
"And we're standing here chatting!"
"Don't you think there's something wrong with that?"
Marshadow shook his head.
