The Maid, Yuki Haku

"That outfit really suits you, Haku!"

Uchiha Yoru looked Haku over as he spoke.

The black-and-white Maid Outfit complemented his delicate face, while white stockings gave his long legs an almost endearing charm.

No man could have resisted the sight. (White stockings forever.)

Yuki Haku stepped out awkwardly, nervously rubbing the hem of his outfit. "Lord Ye... why would anyone make something so embarrassing? This isn't right, is it?"

"I think it looks good. You're a tool, so you don't get to have feelings of your own. Understood?" Uchiha Yoru said coldly.

"Understood!" Yuki Haku agreed aloud, but thought, The moment I see Lord Zabuza again, I'm running.

Acquired one little "maid." Reward: one Kage Level Chakra Fruit (may be consumed by another person).

They were staying in a house in the Land of Waves now. With Zabuza gone and Yuki Haku helping build the bridge, things could hardly have been easier.

Gato had only a few thugs left. Once they dealt with those men while protecting Tazuna during construction, the mission would be complete.

Yuki Haku emerged from the room and stunned everyone!

"That's the Masked Man from earlier!" Kakashi Hatake exclaimed, staring at Haku. Beneath his mask, he looked almost lovestruck.

"Don't get any ideas about my maid. You can imagine the consequences," Uchiha Yoru warned.

Naruto Uzumaki walked in and immediately shouted, "Where did this gorgeous girl come from? She's way prettier than Sakura!"

Sakura Haruno: (σ;Д)σ Death sentence!

Sasuke Uchiha was so surprised that he froze for a moment too.

Yuki Haku's mouth twitched. He seemed about to say something, but remembered Uchiha Yoru's instructions and stayed silent.

"Go train already! Have you learned the Ninjutsu Kakashi taught you?" Uchiha Yoru asked icily.

"No!"

"Then get out there and train!" Uchiha Yoru roared.

But as he watched them leave, an idea came to Uchiha Yoru. An evil smile crept across his face.

"Sasuke, don't you think Brother Ye is being stingy? It wouldn't hurt to look!"

"I've got a new idea for my Sexy Jutsu. I can really polish it up now!"

"Idiot!"

Sasuke Uchiha turned away.

Then he went off to practice Ninjutsu by himself.

"Lightning Release: Lightning Ball!"

A blue ball crackling with lightning shot toward a tree and blasted it apart.

But Sasuke Uchiha shook his head. Just one was nowhere near enough!

He failed to notice the danger creeping up behind him. Someone carrying a Ninja Blade had quietly worked his way to Sasuke's back.

The man had hidden his presence completely. Even with him so close, Sasuke sensed nothing.

"Sasuke, look out!"

"Wind Release: Great Breakthrough!"

A fierce gale swept through the area, hurling Sasuke Uchiha away and exposing the Assassin hiding nearby.

Since when could Naruto, that Dead Last, use Ninjutsu like this?

The wind had yet to die down. Trees rustled all around them, and some branches snapped under the strain.

"Sasuke, who's that beside you?"

Naruto Uzumaki stared at the Ninja standing not far from Sasuke.

"A Ninja from another village? Or someone Gato sent?"

Sasuke Uchiha hurriedly retreated.

"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!"

A huge fireball surged toward the Root Ninja, who sliced it apart with a single effortless stroke.

"Konoha Style: Willow Leaf Slash!"

To Sasuke Uchiha, the sword in the Root Ninja's hand seemed to multiply into countless blades. He couldn't tell which one was real!

He's a Jonin too, the same rank as Kakashi! Cold sweat broke out across Sasuke Uchiha's body. He felt trapped, unable to move.

"What the hell are you trying to do to Sasuke?"

Naruto Uzumaki charged in headfirst and sent the man flying.

"You are Naruto Uzumaki. You are not part of the mission. Leave," the Root Ninja said coldly.

"Sasuke's your target, right? Then I definitely can't leave!"

"Ta-to-ka-ge-bun-shin-no-jutsu! Multiple Shadow Clone Technique!"

Countless Narutos appeared, surrounding the Root Ninja.

Seizing the chance, Naruto Uzumaki grabbed Sasuke Uchiha and fled. Ye-sensei and Kakashi-sensei would know how to deal with them!

"Earth Release: Swamp of the Underworld!"

Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke found they couldn't lift their feet. They sank helplessly into the ground.

One man blocked their escape.

The other had destroyed every one of Naruto Uzumaki's Shadow Clones and was approaching Naruto with a long sword in hand.

Two Jonin, just to kill me! Despair seized Sasuke Uchiha. They couldn't even move, and even if they could, they stood no chance against two Jonin.

"Sasuke, don't give up! We'll find a way!" Naruto Uzumaki urged.

"Konoha Style: Gale Slash!"

The Root Ninja charged at Sasuke Uchiha, his sword bearing down with unstoppable force.

"Shadow Clone Technique!"

Naruto Uzumaki and one of his Shadow Clones each grabbed a side of Sasuke Uchiha and hurled him clear. Sasuke narrowly escaped, while the shockwave instantly shattered the clone.

"Sasuke, run! Don't come back!"

Naruto Uzumaki shouted.

"Then I'll do it again! Multiple Shadow Clone Technique!"

An even greater mass of Shadow Clones rushed the Ninja before him, buying Sasuke Uchiha as much time as possible.

"Multiple Shadow Clone Technique!"

Naruto Uzumaki burned through the Chakra in his body until not a drop remained. Like an endless army, his clones surged toward the two men.

"Earth Release: Earth Flow River!"

The earth turned into a flowing river of mud, reshaping the terrain and wiping out every one of Naruto's Shadow Clones at once.

The swordsman felt something grab his leg.

"Bastard! I'll never let you catch Sasuke!"

"Idiot!"

The Root Ninja knew he absolutely could not kill Naruto Uzumaki, the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki.

He kicked Naruto in the face again and again with his free leg. Even after Naruto's face was bruised and swollen, he refused to let go.

"I... I'll never let you go after Sasuke!"

"You go ahead! Deal with Sasuke! I can't get away!" the Root Ninja said helplessly. Naruto clung to him like glue.

"Lightning Release: Lightning Ball!"

Several blue-glowing lightning balls shot toward the two of them.

As luck would have it, Naruto Uzumaki was still clutching the man's leg and took the hit too.

The man was sent flying, and Naruto finally let go.

"Idiot Sasuke! Didn't I tell you to run?" Naruto Uzumaki cursed weakly.

"Idiot," Sasuke Uchiha said coldly.

"Let's kill them together!"

"Sasuke, your eyes?"

"My clan's Kekkei Genkai, the Sharingan. I've awakened it too. I'm stronger now!"

Sasuke Uchiha spoke with confidence.

As for how he had awakened it, he would never admit it happened when he saw Naruto Uzumaki in such a terrible state.

"We'll kill them together!"

"Yeah!"
