Obito's Identity Exposed

"Shinra Tensei!"

Once again, Uchiha Yoru was sent flying.

He recovered even faster this time and charged straight at Nagato. Wasn't this proof that Nagato was out of options? Aside from Shinra Tensei, he had no way to counter him.

Just as Uchiha Yoru's hand was about to reach Nagato, another hand grabbed him.

That was infuriating. He'd been so close.

Staring at the masked figure before him, Uchiha Yoru kicked Nagato away before breaking free.

"I think we can sit down and talk, my young Uchiha kinsman."

"Kinsman?"

Uchiha Yoru looked momentarily stunned.

"Who are you?"

"My name is Madara Uchiha! I'm an ancestor of your clan. We're family, so I think we can talk!"

"Give me the Rinnegan, and we can talk about anything!"

Even knowing this was "Madara Uchiha," Uchiha Yoru's expression remained calm.

Others might not know, but I know exactly who you are, Obito Uchiha!

"I can't give you the Rinnegan! These eyes are meant to save the world!"

"Save the world? Through war? Or through pain?"

"Chidori!"

Lightning flared in Uchiha Yoru's hand, lighting up the area as he thrust it at Obito Uchiha.

"It's useless!"

Obito Uchiha confidently let his body turn intangible, waiting to see Uchiha Yoru's look of disbelief.

Instead, his left shoulder was pierced clean through.

"How is that possible?"

Obito Uchiha could hardly believe it. How could anyone have broken through his intangibility, which had never failed him?

He even forgot the pain in his shoulder. Hashirama's cells would heal anything short of a fatal wound anyway.

Obito Uchiha looked at Uchiha Yoru. Their Mangekyō Sharingan met head-on.

"I see. I understand everything now. Kakashi broke our promise! He gave the gift I gave him to someone else!"
