That irritating, rustling laughter rose again.
The bear-shaped silhouette sneered. "If you're a King of the North, then I'm the emperor of mankind—"
A pair of huge hands shoved it aside like a doll. With a tremor that shook the Dungeon, the towering figure pressed its forehead to the cold stone floor, sending a low hum through the entire chamber.
"Great King of the North, please accept my humble respects..."
Olmedo had deliberately put himself in this Dungeon—Annan's experience now confirmed it.
Because of Annan's identity, this half-giant stranger had become his most loyal protector. It wasn't a Giant subspecies like the Stephen Lesser Giants. Beside it, a Stephen Lesser Giant would look like a burly man's dainty wife.
As the child of a human and a Giant, it was astonishingly taller and broader than a Stephen Lesser Giant, which already stood over four meters tall.
Its mother and father must have been equally astonishing.
