As he left the Six-Armed Snake Demon's embrace, Annan felt a flicker of disappointment. He quickly pulled himself together. "Y-yes. I fought all night. I could fall asleep on my feet!"

She had spent far less time with Olmedo Just Right than expected, so she could see the Succubus Queen ahead of schedule.
Annan followed the Six-Armed Snake Demon back to the hall and collected Rus. Then he remembered the two Blade Demons who should still be alive. "Where are Babu and Ange?"
"You mean Babu Brubideonsa and Angetur Mogus Dala? They went to get treated."
"That's good. They helped a lot, too."
If those two hadn't fearlessly held off the Ratfolk Elder, Annan might have had to risk exposing himself to escape.
"Aren't you afraid they'll take a share of your credit?"
A hint of curiosity showed on Biross's face. Rewarding people according to their contributions was common among humans, but among Chaos Alignment Demons, the strongest usually took everything.
The Succubus Queen's Sixth Legion was the most orderly force under the Demon Lord, but even it couldn't change the nature of Demons.
