Just then, Rus's voice sounded outside the window.
"Rus? When did you get here?"
All three people in the office turned toward her.
Rus gripped the windowsill and climbed into the room while Annan hesitated over what to say. "When you ran up here carrying Lady Biross."
She looked between Annan and Biross suspiciously, wondering if something had happened between them.
"Is that your ability?" Olmedo asked suddenly.
"Ability? I suppose so. I can sense desire, and the stronger someone's desire is, the easier I can make it for them to notice me... or overlook me." Rus fixed her gaze on Annan, speaking one word at a time.
Annan lowered his head shyly.
Olmedo studied the Incubus. It seemed they had found a suitable candidate for Annan's new Guard, though they would have to watch out for her abusing her position.
Fortunately, the Incubus looked more human. Annan probably wouldn't be very interested in her.
"All right. You'll go to the Empire with Annan this time."

Elena hugged her little Money Chest and hummed as she walked toward the City Lord's Mansion, her steps light and her tail swaying.

Lost in her daydream, Elena spotted her prince charming at Teleportation Square. She smiled and was about to approach him when a bewitching, tall Incubus appeared, linked arms with him, and walked laughing and chatting through the Portal.
