Divine power flowed into Eldest Sister for far less time than it had into Mora. After a few seconds, Silly Cat withdrew it.

"There. My Saintess, you're healed."

Idelia gripped the Wheelchair's armrests and tried to stand, but her legs did not budge.

"Why isn't it working?" Annan asked Silly Cat worriedly.

"What's the rush? If your third leg had been broken for over ten years, could you use it the instant it grew back?"

"That's a dirty word. You shouldn't say it."

"What dirty word? Oh, you have two hands and two feet, not four legs." Silly Cat, who had spent too long as a cat, gestured with her front paws.

Realizing the misunderstanding, Idelia blushed. Her embarrassment sapped her resolve, and she sank back into the Wheelchair.

"I'll help you."

"Mm."

Idelia watched Annan come to her side, then confidently leaned her hand and half her body against him. With his support, she rose little by little.

Eldest Sister swayed slightly like a scarecrow in the wind. But as she stood by her own will for the first time, she gazed around the familiar yet strangely unfamiliar Lounge.

"You did it..." Annan said.

"I did."

Only Silly Cat yawned. She had merely stood up. What was so exciting about that?

Annan gradually eased his support until he was only holding Eldest Sister's hand, letting her stand on her own.

But when he asked her to take a few steps, she shook her head. "My legs... They're numb. I can't move them."

Annan asked Eldest Sister to lift her skirt. She looked embarrassed, but she gathered the fabric at both sides and raised it bit by bit, revealing her ankles, calves, and knees before stopping at her thighs.

Annan crouched to examine her legs up close.
