He looked up at Annan. He was remarkably young, seemingly only in his thirties. A dragonhide glove lay on the desk beside him. The room's solemn, immaculate arrangement hardly seemed to belong in Strange Tales City.

Annan couldn't help glancing back down the corridor. Outside this room, it really was night.

"Why have you come here?"

Annan didn't answer. He looked at the man. "Should I call you the Warden or Archbishop?"

"...That doesn't matter anymore. Answer my question. Why have you come here?"

Annan couldn't say, I came to kill you now that you've become an oddity, then give your true body to the Princess so he can regain his humanity. But lying was no better.

"I'll only tell someone honorable."

Archbishop Valencia fell silent for a moment,
