But the man had a mission. Engrossed though he was, he had a purpose. At the mention of Beyond the Mundane, he immediately sharpened his focus, his heart filling with suspicion and uncertainty.
Even we have heard the name of Mount Tai, the Eastern Peak, like thunder. It is itself one of the gateways between heaven and earth and the Underworld Office. The earlier disturbance actually involved Beyond the Mundane? Could this truly be the person the Demon Venerable seeks?
